Smack in the middle of West Nashville . . .

The West Nashville Real Estate market is alive and well. This "close-in area" has many neighborhoods which blend into a wonderful quality of life. This is a very "walkable" and lush green -BEAUTIFUL area of Nashville with lots of great parks (Percy & Edwin Warner are the largest) and playgrounds. Familiar neighborhood names - Green Hills, Belle Meade (Home of the Belle Meade Plantation), West Meade, Hillwood, Brookside, Sylvan Park, Richland, West End . . . and my favorite (Because I grew up in this area) Woodmont - I am posting these blog posts to show off the different neighborhoods in Nashville - Sort of a "Blogging tour" of the city . . . and what better way to do this than to show you typical homes in each area.

The pictures scattered about in this blog post are of a house The Owen Group recently listed for sale smack dab in the CENTER of close in West Nashville - The values in this area have held strong through the market down-turn and are typically $500,000 and up to $6,000,000 (or more) . . . This particular house is an "attached single family" with the feel of a Detached house. The yard is wonderful because it backs up to some great lots - making for wonderful privacy. @ 2300 Square feet and beautifully up-dated throughout $475,000 - New kitchen and bath - lots of hardwood floors - 3 Bedrooms - 2.5 baths - 2 car garage and a location that simply cannot be beat - a block from Woodmont park (with a cool playground) and 2 blocks from Harris Teater - new Publix under construction - Belle Meade Plaza - and the brand new Richland Creek Greenway which wraps around the McCabe Public golf Course

The house has a traditional floor plan with a cool contemporary feel - The current owners were very meticulous with their improvements and left no detail out of the plan. This is April 6, and Spring is just now Springing here in Nashville. In just a few weeks, EVERYTHING will be lush and green,and the flowers will be in full bloom - Recent heavy rains have guaranteed this :-)






Just imagine The entertaining you could do here . . . The hut tub stays . . . and the convenience of the location. I grew up on a street @ 5 blocks from the house and as kids, we walked up this street on hot summer days to the neighborhood store for slurpies. That was over 35 years ago, and the feel of the neighborhood has not changed since. My whole world was within 3 miles of our house - Shopping, interstate access, playgrounds, schools (I attended MBA Montgomery Bell Academy )

Needless to say, we are excited to be able to offer this house - It's right in the heart of our "stompin' grounds" . . . and it gives me the opportunity to show off my "hood" . . .
